Lucinda van de Berkt (Har Kiret Kaur) is a Kundalini Yoga and meditation teacher with over 20 years experience and Level 1 & 2 Certified KRI (Kundalini Yoga Research Institute)


She is a dedicated practitioner and teacher of Kundalini Yoga from the Vedic and tantric traditions.


Lucinda's classes are powerfully gentle and transformative.These courses are open to all levels of experience and are held in a beautiful safe space, in the spirit of non-judgment, inclusiveness and community.

Lucinda is a Holistic Counsellor and Yoga Therapist and is a strong advocate in the ability of Yoga and Mindfulness to enrich our lives. 

Lucinda facilitates private therapy sessions and Group Yoga Therapy sessions for the treatment of trauma, anxiety and depression.

Interweaving all her knowledge, including a background in Shiatsu and Chinese medicine and has formal training in Hatha, Japanese Yoga and Yin Yoga.


Kundalini Yoga is an ancient and  powerful style of yoga. It supports us to become physically, emotionally and mentally resilient by developing a strong nervous system, a healthy glandular and a resilient immune system so that we embrace a life full of confidence.

Kundalini Yoga is for everyone and is one of the most transformative yoga practices today. It is based on a set of exercises that is designed specifically to target certain areas of your body in order to strengthen them and help them release toxins.

Each lot of exercises are referred to as a ‘set’ or a ‘kriya”. First we tune in using a centering technique to call upon our inner guidance. Then we warm up and stretch out our bodies using movement and strong breathing. Each Kundalini yoga class is unique, but each will contain a yoga ‘set’ of postures and exercises that work on specific areas of the body, mind, and spirit.

The word ‘kundalini’ refers to our potential. The practice of kundalini yoga is both a technology and a science for all aspects of human living based on the realisation that our true strength comes from within, Kundalini Yoga deepens and expands our awareness on all levels so that we may awaken our full potential and grace.

A class leaves you with an overwhelming sense that you have nurtured your whole being and experienced something special. You do not need to be in perfect physical condition or share any particular belief system.

Shiv Charan Singh, an unassuming and authentic spiritual teacher, Scottish by birth, is the founding director of the International Karam Kriya School (1996). Karam Kriya means ‘Total action through which our karma is brought to completion though application of spiritual consciousness guided by the intelligence of numbers’. .



Guru Jivan Khalsa

Guru Jivan Kaur has been teaching Kundalini yoga in Asia and Australia for 45 years. GuruJivan is Lead Teacher Trainer in Australia and New Zealand and the most senior teacher in this part of the world. Using a wealth of experience gained over many years, Guru Jivan empowers  others to experience their own true Self within and around them. GuruJivan respects each person's individuality and encourages students to pursue their own goals during practice, while herself maintaining the highest level of practice.
