Do you have Cold Depression?

Are you experiencing a strong desire to keep yourself busy, preoccupied? Are you easily angered, impatient or find yourself drinking several cups of coffee a day? Do you experiencing emotions that make no sense or reacting to things that you cannot explain? Do you feel a deep sense of loneliness and loss of meaning?

Are you experiencing a strong desire to be alone?  Feeling overly sensitive around others? Wanting to change jobs, homes or your entire life?

If you have any of the above, you may be experiencing  what in the teaching of Kundalini Yoga is called. Cold Depression. (PLEASE NOTE: This condition is different from Clinical Depression  and the content here  is provided for this YOGA workshop is for  informational purposes only, and does not intend to substitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.)

As we transition into the new age through 2038, in the teachings of Kundalini Yoga, it is spoken that humanity would suffer from a phenomenon called Cold Depression. Cold Depression is our single biggest challenge as we integrate into these times.  It affects vitality of spirit and may lead us to take destructive risks and to self-sabotage.

In life, we’ve been betrayed and our heart has been broken. We can become angry and reactive, frustrated and hopeless. Some people manage to relieve the pain, adapt, and find healing. Others hold it within and self-alienation intensifies. We’re depressed but not aware of it.

At first, we feel indifference, a dismissive attitude toward life. Over time, it becomes a corroding thread through the fabric of our life. We want to destroy everything. We feel nothing responds to us. This leads to the core syndrome of separation from our True Self. Our word is no longer dependable. Our character gives way to caricature; consciousness to defensiveness. Values are reduced to judgments. Spiritual and inspirational urges are suppressed and rejected.

This is Cold Depression

A systematic response to stress… an unexpressed anger. It is a feeling of hopelessness, of no spirit left, we feel empty. It is a built-in depression, we feel limited, small, neglected, and rejected. It is about our separation from our spiritual nature, from our essence.

Time to Thrive

The quick solution? Get your energy from Prana and not from adrenaline. The rhythmic flow of Kundalini Yoga kriya restores the nervous and glandular systems and releases old stress response patterns from the body. Mantra breaks the silence of the soul and builds the pranic and radiant bodies. This gives both calm and vitality.

Even quicker solution?  Breathe and chant! Let the mantra regulate your breath to restore your Prana.  Let the tongue and lips move across the meridian points to balance your brain to deal with stress.

This very special  class includes various elements of the ancient practice of Kundalini Yoga such as breathing exercises (pranayama), kriyas(yoga poses), mudras (hand gestures) chanting, meditation and more. Sound healing using a gong will be played at the end of the class.

Delicious treats and healing nectar will be served to nourish and ground you, so you can be lulled into the deepest sleep dreaming your most sweetest of dreams.

All levels welcome, no prior experience is necessary.

Please don't hesitate to call or email with any questions.
