1.  KRI offers the only approved teacher training programs in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan®.

Beware of non-KRI certified Kundalini Yoga teacher trainings!
Be aware during your search for a teacher training about who your trainers are, their qualifications and legitimacy, and what association you will be certified with once you graduate. Too many students have been misinformed and have had to re-take their training with legitimate teachers once they discovered they were not properly trained or certified after completing their training.

If you read the fine-print, you will find that other programs may result in an ancillary certification, but not KRI certification. By choosing a KRI certified program, you will receive training that is taught by KRI licensed Teacher Trainers who have completed many years of in-depth practice and study to achieve their KRI training credentials. Most importantly, only KRI certified Level One Teacher Training fulfils the prerequisite requirements to continue with Level Two and Level Three training.

I2. International standards and certification levels assure that all programs deliver the same quality – no matter where you take the training.

After achieving graduation and certification as a Level One Instructor, continuing to have the support of mentors and peers will be as important as ever. Venturing out as a new yoga teacher can be challenging and being able to connect with experienced teachers is a vital resource. Many times, students will have completed a program that has a Lead Trainer or other members of the training team who live in the student’s local area or region. This Training is suitable for anybody who wants to gain a deeper understanding of the Self. Many decide to study these ancient yoga teachings without wanting to become a teacher. It is recommended for anyone that wants to experience growth in their personal and/or professional path, removing old obstacles that block the way forward.

The majority of the Level 1 students are beginners who have done very little or any practice before and want to get started in the Kundalini yoga practice. It doesn’t matter how much you have practiced before. The Training gives you the foundation to start from the basics of yoga and evolve at your own pace.

The Aquarian Teacher Certification program is a unique adventure in consciousness for personal development and spiritual growth open to yoga students ready to become instructors and those who wish to immerse themselves in the technology of Kundalini Yoga. The Level 1 Teacher Training is open to all men, women and all members of the LGBTQ community.

plus-white.png
minus-white.png

Kundalini Yoga teacher training can be life-changing. The experience of going through the course can be profoundly transforming. Most people don’t take the course with the intention of teaching. The motivation is to learn more about the practice, go deeper.

Just as you might at the beginning of the class, set an intention. Remember why you practice yoga and why you may want to teach it. This intention is useful to come back to if things get a little tough or overwhelming at times.

You may begin your course with the intention of teaching afterward, but halfway through find that the idea of teaching doing so isn’t as appealing as it first seemed. And vice versa: you may think that’s there’s no way you’ll have the courage to stand up at the front of a class and teach – but this can change too!

Most importantly, study and learn for yourself. Whether you want to teach afterward or not, you’ll really get the most out of your teacher training course by absorbing the teachings and imbibing them. It’s only after fully embodying something that we can share it from an authentic and pure place.

This is fine but there are so many opportunities and applications to teach Kundalini, many consider sharing their newfound wisdom and experience with others who might benefit from it.
